Chester's Cajun Grill Guestbook

Went to Chester's new Cheektowaga location and the server Katie was excellent. The food was very, very good.Took out of town family and they wished Chester's was in their home town in Pennsylvania. The fried ice cream was a great finish. Missed you at the fair this year, but thank you the 2nd location which is closer. My rating is 5 crawfish. If you eat at Chester's, you will leave with your stomach smiling. Jim Snyder

The food was terrific. We have traveled several times to Nawlins and we love the food there. The chicken and sausage gumbo and red beans and rice were excellent. we had to try the muffaletta and also a blackened crab cake sandwich. It has the perfect balance of heat and seasoning, I think it is a great spot. we had tried on a Saurday evening at 6 a couple of weeks ago and it was a long wait. I would recommend it to anyone,

Tried chesters for the first time tonight and it exceeded expectations. My mom was diagnosed with celiacs disease which doesn’t allow her to have gluten, everytime we go to a restaurant and see there “gluten free” menu it’s usually a lot of salads or plain meat dishes. Not here!! She was so happy she could have a pasta dish! There was so much variety for her and not to mention her dish was delicious as well as everyone else’s meal. If I could give more than 5 stars I would ! Service was also great ! We will 100% be back to try more!

We have been to Chester's a number of times and the food is great. Our experience on Saturday, 8/12/17 was not good. Last night we went to the new location for the first time, with a party of six. Chester's does not take reservations, per a previous phone call, so we arrived there at about 6:00 PM. We went to the reception desk and asked for a table. There were a number of empty tables at that time, only a few people waiting and not many at the bar. The waitress came out and told us that because there six of us it would be "quite a while" before we could get a table. When we asked her how long "quite a while" was, she stated about two hours. Totally unacceptable! We left and went elsewhere for dinner. If you are not going to take reservations and tell a small party of six it will be two hours for a table because there are six of you, Chester's had better consider changes to the operations. We will not go there again with a group of people unless this changes.

We were a party of four, each had a different meal and all the meals were delicious and of good size.
The service was very good and the food was hot when served.
We will definitely be making this a favorite place.

Went to the restaurant on opening night at their new location. Sean was our waiter. He anticipated everything we needed. Never had to ask for refills, napkins ...etc. very nice and accommodating. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer for 3 people and it was fried perfectly and the portion was huge. Main coarses were also delicious and plentiful. While looking at their happy hour specials, they can't be beat. $2 bottle beer, 1/2 priced apps.... Will be a regular

Lovin’ Spoonful,AKA Norb has opinions on everything Restaurant Division. We haven’t been to Chester’s in quite a while. We decided to go there for my 68th birthday. There were a few disappointing changes in the menu. They removed two of the appetizers I loved, the dusted oysters and the fried green tomatoes. We selected the steamed clams for an appetizer. The problem with fresh shell fish is it has to be good quality and prepared properly. The clams were a bit rubbery and tasteless but these are the only bad things I have to say. Now to the good stuff. I had the Blackened Catfish Po’ Boy, Great flavor. My wife had the Cajun Popcorn Both these came with a serious side which are I opted for the Mac ‘n Cheese. It was very creamy and reminded me of the Boston Market Mac ‘n Cheese. Donna selected the Cole Slaw and she said it was good. The staff was attentive without hovering and helped contribute to the experience. If you haven’t tried Cajun before, this is the place to go.
